Arts + Business Council

Where the arts
mean business.

Develop your
creative advantage.

How does a small arts organization make big-money connections? Or a corporate CEO think with the imagination of a designer? Through collective knowledge sharing and creative connections. This is what the Arts + Business Council continually facilitates in Philadelphia, but they have been operating with a brand that hadn’t been updated since its inception. Our team worked with Arts + Business Council to create a new brand identity that would speak to both parties, the business and the creative.

Curating a creative
economy for all.

A typographic system inspired by business documentation and white papers, paired with foundational artistic principles like primary colors and basic shapes, was where we found our framework. This balance of art and organization provided a visual bridge between the two industries and ultimately helped us represent what A+BC does at its core.

Innovate the way
you innovate.

Flexible but structured, bright but familiar, A+BC’s new brand was built to support their ever expanding efforts for years to come. With a robust system that could be as playful as the artists or as serious as the board meetings, we were able to help A+BC define clear avenues to activate the various types of programming for all of the different audience types.
