Businesses, residents,
and tourists alike.

One of the blossoming neighborhoods of Northeast Philadelphia, Northern Liberties is a home we knew well. With our own office smack in the center of this area, we knew when the Northern Liberties Business Improvement District started looking for a new identity, we had to jump in. A place with businesses both big and small, residents who grew up here and ones that just moved in, and a boutique shoppers avenue with festivals and outdoor dining fun, this was a place where you could really follow your own path.

Our concept was to visualize this journey, a way to interact with the area that spoke uniquely to you and the road you wanted to follow while you were here. With a vibrancy as energetic as its environment and a logotype that reminds of the quirky way this place continues to flip perspectives on their head, Northern Liberties was ready to take off.

The path less taken.

With a library of playful paths in tow, we took to the streets. With a fresh new take on lamp banners, big bellies, and vacant window coverings, the neighborhood came to life. Now, as they walked through the streets, our residents, business owners, and day-trippers could feel embraced by colorful creations—ones reminding them to twist and wind through the streets and explore the nooks and crannies of this historical and eclectic section of Philly.
